On February 14, 2025, the FSRSC approved the appointment of Maria Isabel (Mabel) Comedia, Partner and Head of Quality and Risk Management of P&A Grant Thorton, to be the new Chair of the Philippine Interpretations Committee (PIC) effective immediately. Mabel had been an active member of the PIC for more than 10 years now and she succeeds Zaldy Aguirre.
